Recently I have began to notice the symbolism that “Clothing” or in this case “Armor” in scripture, and the purpose it holds. When you think of the many different uses of each piece and how they are used this can benefit small steps we can make for equipping our Christian lives. Please take the time to look at each Characteristic that is given in Ephesians 6:13-18.
The Belt of truth
The Breastplate of Righteousness
Fitted feet of the Gospel of Peace
The Shield of Faith
The Helmet of Salvation
The Sword of the Spirit (The Word of God)
The more we choose to work on these characteristics the more equipped we will be for battle. The next couple of weeks I will be going over each piece individually, examining their purpose, symbolism, and application.
